My name is Tim Cork and I welcome you to my blog on West Virginia.
I was born and raised in Clarksburg, WV and have many fond memories of this beautiful state. West Virginia possesses the kind of beauty, that can be compared to no other. It is no wonder that it has been labeled "The Mountain State", and even "Almost Heaven". If your eyes have ever explored her grandeur, then you too can understand why West Virginia is also called "The Pride of every Mountaineer".

We are proud people with dignity and fortitude to over come the obstacles we face. Because of these qualities, we are also labeled as, "Mountaineers Always Free".
